CMGT 5309 Community Sustainability 3.0 Credits
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how to plan, design, and develop communities that promote long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Students explore principles of sustainable urban development, resilient infrastructure, smart growth, land use planning, resource conservation, green building strategies, and community well-being. The course examines methods for reducing environmental impacts through sustainable site design, transportation systems, energy-efficient development, and responsible resource management.
