COM 320 [WI] Science Writing 3.0 Credits

This course examines the conventions of the various genres of scientific writing and how to distinguish them. Students will develop skills by writing a research article summary, a review of research on a topic, and a grant letter or paragraph on a scientific topic written in lay terms. This is a writing-intensive course.
