COM 6020 Communication Theory in a Digitized World 3.0 Credits

This course looks at communication theories, persuasion models, and how media works in today’s digital world. Students will explore how these ideas help explain messages, audience reactions, new technologies, and cultural influence. Using these frameworks, students will learn to critically evaluate communication messages and media experiences from different perspectives and apply what they learn to emerging technologies and strategic communication practices. The course provides a strong theoretical foundation for advanced study in strategic digital communication.
