CRTV 6505 Neuropedagogy, Learning and Assessment 3.0 Credits

This course explores neuroscience-informed pedagogy to support teaching, learning, and assessment practices across learning modalities. Students engage with translational research from neuroscience, psychology, and education. The course examines evidence-based practices, productive struggle, and multimodal feedback. Students explore the neurobiological effects of stress and trauma on learning, memory, and performance. The course integrates Universal Design for Learning (UDL), higher-order thinking, cognitive load management, and assessment methods to enhance learning, memory, mastery, and transfer. Students demonstrate their understanding of neuropedagogy, neuroplasticity, and assessment through applied real-world projects across educational and workforce environments.
