CS 1030 Computer Science I 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the field of computer science, examining both functional and imperative programming paradigms and focusing on the systematic design of programs and problem solving. Problems are analyzed, and computational solutions are defined. Topics include recursion, iteration, abstraction, algorithms, data structures, testing, analysis, debugging. The course also introduces important concepts in computer science theory in the context of programming.
