CS 1510 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence 3.0 Credits
This introductory course provides a broad exploration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), focusing on the history of AI, fundamental concepts, real-world applications, and emerging trends. Students will explore the foundational principles of AI and ML, covering their diverse tasks (e.g., classification, planning, generation) and the various methods used to solve them (e.g., neural networks, reinforcement learning, rule-based systems). Ethical considerations, societal impacts, and the future of AI will also be discussed. No prior programming experience is required.
