CS 2110 Data Structures 3.0 Credits
This course introduces data structures, a foundational topic in programming and problem solving. Students explore a range of core data structures and learn how to adapt and design them to suit different tasks. Students also learn to model real-world problems using appropriate abstract representations and to design algorithms that operate on these structures to produce efficient solutions. In addition, the course introduces methods for analyzing algorithmic efficiency, helping to develop the ability to evaluate multiple solution strategies and choose the most effective approach.
