CS 2210 Systems Architecture 3.0 Credits

This course bridges the gap between high-level programming and hardware execution, providing students with essential insight into how software actually runs on a computer. The course demystifies the journey from compiled code to machine execution by teaching students to read and write RISC-V assembly language, understand instruction set architectures, and trace how programs execute at the hardware level. Topics covered include assembly language programming (RISC-V) and toolchains, digital logic design, ALU design, and central processor architecture and implementation.
