CS 4520 Foundations of Deep Learning 3.0 Credits
This course introduces a machine learning technique called deep learning and its applications. Emphasis is placed on gradient-based learning, including experience deriving gradient rules. Students are also exposed to seminal deep learning architectures across application areas and gain experience implementing a simple deep learning framework from scratch, as well as integrating with an existing one.
