CS 5010 Programming Data Structures and Algorithms 3.0 Credits
This course develops an understanding of the principles, knowledge, and skills needed in the practice of programming and for graduate study in Computer Science. The course uses classical algorithms and data structures to build foundational programming skills, for both students with no programming experience and those with a small amount of programming experience. Topics covered include analysis and implementation of algorithms through programming, data Structures to help implement algorithms, recursive and iterative programming approaches, searching, sorting, binary search trees, linked lists, and graph algorithms.
