CS 5570 Neuro-symbolic Collective Intelligence 3.0 Credits
This course critically examines biologically inspired and population-based approaches to optimization, prediction, and control. Topics include evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, Neuro-symbolic computing, and wisdom-of-crowds methods. The course emphasizes the synthesis of neural and symbolic representations and the evaluation of collective behavior in multi-agent models. Students will engage with primary research literature and demonstrate advanced application through a research-oriented project or scholarly paper.
