CS 7950 Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Capstone 3.0 Credits
This course challenges students to move AI and Machine Learning from theory to real-world application. During the capstone, student teams are embedded within real-world ventures, from startups to research labs to established corporations, functioning as a professional development team. Guided by faculty and industry stakeholders, teams work to design, build, and validate a significant, high-impact product. Projects tackle complex, commercially relevant challenges in domains like computer vision, large-scale data analysis, and applied LLMs. Students manage the entire product lifecycle, with the goal of delivering a startup ready prototype, a foundation for publishable research, or a direct contribution to a corporate partner.
