CTCN 503 Differential Diagnosis and Processes 4.5 Credits
This course provides an introduction to the structure and uses of the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM) and the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) for differential diagnosis, case formulation, and treatment planning. Critical analysis of the limitations and relevancy of these approaches, and the use of these systems effectively in the context of relational, biopsychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and systemic interventions will be emphasized.
