CTCN 534 Group Supervision II 1.5 Credit

Students will present, discuss, and evaluate client and practicum site-specific material from their clinical and community practice experiences. The cases are discussed in a small group interactive format where students can begin to connect theory and practice with systems of care where children, adolescents, adults, and older adult populations receive therapy and counseling, or other community or medical model supports. Students will learn observational and attending skills and essential actions, attitudes, and values for being an engaged student-therapist/counselor. Learning will be intentionally attentive to developing culturally responsive, collaborative, and productive therapeutic relationships.
