CTCN 5553 Helping Relationships and Therapy Skills II 2.0 Credits
This course continues Helping Relationship and Therapy Skills I with experience and practice of individual and group skills in the laboratory setting of the classroom. Particular attention is given to discerning patterns and themes in the counseling/therapy process through which the therapy relationship and therapeutic process develops. The student learns to support the meaningful progression of the counseling/therapy process through reflection of feelings and content, paraphrasing, and summarizing.
