CTCN 6613 Clinical Internship and Adv Group Supervision I 3.0 Credits
This course provides supervised clinical experience in art therapy and counseling within a student-selected system of care, arranged in collaboration with program leadership. Students receive individual supervision from onsite or offsite supervisors and participate in small group art therapy supervision led by a credentialed art therapist (ATR-BC). Through presentation and discussion of client and site-specific clinical material, students integrate theory and practice across the lifespan while developing skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, group and individual dynamics, and awareness of transference and countertransference.
