CW 5510 Inaugural Residency 3.0 Credits
The course will provide students with opportunities for intensive study and community building for the MFA cohort. Daily schedule for the in-person residency consists of peer-critique, faculty-led workshop, faculty talks and career development modules. As the inaugural residency in the MFA sequence, this course will introduce core craft principals and orient students for the course of study. Prior to in-person residency, students complete reading assignments and submit 20 pages of works-in-progress for faculty-led workshop critique and analysis. After the in-person residency, students complete assignments and meet for remote synchronous workshops.
