CW 6630 Packet Exchange III 3.0 Credits
This is the third creative writing mentorship course in a sequence of three courses whose purpose is to enable students to produce an ambitious, publishable piece of work. The format of the class is a packet exchange. The student will send their mentor packets of writing on pre-arranged dates. The mentor will review and critique the student’s efforts and return work on a pre-set date with a line-edit and a robust editorial note. This course also has a professional development component that focuses on how to write engaging synopses, how to assimilate professional editorial feedback, and how best to undertake a successful agent search.
