DMVP 300 Introduction to Virtual Production 3.0 Credits

In this class, students use Unreal Engine to learn real-time graphics engine-based virtual filmmaking techniques for creating narrative virtual production. Topics include set/location/world building, lighting, camera setup and movement, digital human character creation, animation and final rendering. Students will use these techniques to complete a narrative capstone project in the form of an animated short or previsualization of a planned, traditional film scene which could serve as tool for production planning or fund raising for a traditional short film production.
