DMVP 4110 Advanced Virtual Production 3.0 Credits
This advanced course challenges students to analyze, evaluate, and create expressive virtual production experiences using real-time performance capture and immersive technologies. Students experiment with motion capture, real-time engines, and LED wall environments to design hybrid physical/digital experiences that merge live performance and virtual space. Through iterative exploration and critique, students assess technical, aesthetic, and experiential decisions while developing original virtual productions. Emphasis is placed on creative authorship, systems thinking, and the synthesis of emerging tools into polished, professional-grade virtual experiences.
