DSGN 5005 Shared Foundations: Arts, Design, and Urban Creative Practice 3.0 Credits
This experiential seminar course will introduce students to creative practice in our city and region through field visits, guest lectures, and in-class discussions. Students will experience firsthand the aspects of creative practice, design practice, and urban community that interest them in their plans to specialize. Students will engage with subject matter experts to produce case studies, visual and written literature reviews, and creative observational outcomes in this class. Course work will be reviewed by both professionals and scholars in the field of interest.
