EAM 1101 Introduction to Entertainment and Arts Management 3.0 Credits

This course serves as an introduction to management in the arts and entertainment by providing an overview of the most significant players, how they are organized and their key creative, business and ethical aspects. Students are challenged to refine their professional plans while learning about the varied career paths available in entertainment and the arts. Case studies, profiles of successful individuals, discussions of current trends, and small group brainstorming sessions give students a broad understanding of the industry.
