EAM 1201 Project Management in Entertainment and Arts 3.0 Credits

This course explores the concepts of strategic planning, program design, as well as product and project management tools and evaluation in the creative industries. Instruction will focus on the development of project and program strategies, including research, environmental and competitor analysis, stakeholder engagement, frameworks and platforms, scope, resource management, and the establishment of success metrics. Other topics discussed will be leadership skills, decision-making, bench-marking, and managing change. Students will present and defend the elements of their plans.
