This course explores the major elements of financial accounting in entertainment and cultural institutions. Students will learn to draft and manage budgets for organizations and cultural products. They will learn to execute accounting workflow and tasks, read and analyze financial statements, and implement an effective financial control system in the specific context of arts entertainment and cultural organizations. Students will learn how to use financial information as part of a data-informed decision-making process.
