EAM 3101 Artist Representation and Management 3.0 Credits
This course is an overview of artist representation in entertainment and the arts, covering the work of agents, artist managers, entertainment attorneys, unions/guilds, artist rights societies, and representatives in public relations and publicity. Topics include reps in performing arts, streaming and legacy media, music, social media, sports, esports, live events and theater. Students apply representation strategies and best practices in role-playing scenarios and exercises.
