EAM 3303 Entertainment Venue Management 3.0 Credits
This course focuses on operational management of entertainment and performing arts venues of all sizes and scale. Students will develop effective strategies for event visibility and audience engagement; understand the fiscal components of box office operations, budgeting, and revenue generation; explore current technologies in ticket sales, CRM, and facility management; implement protocols for patron and staff safety, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation; and develop management plans for staff resources, recruitment, training, and team leadership.
