ECE 2201 Advanced Programming for Engineers 3.0 Credits
This course covers aspects of programming closer to the hardware–software interface, which are best understood using a lower-level, non-garbage-collected language. Working in the C programming language within a Linux development environment, students explore more advanced programming concepts such as pointers and dynamic memory allocation, gaining familiarity with the program execution model and memory organization used by modern computing systems. The course serves as a foundation for future embedded firmware and systems-level software development.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
Prerequisites: ECE 1210 [Min Grade: D] or ECE 105 [Min Grade: D]
