ECE 3470 Device Physics and Analog Electronics 4.0 Credits
Introduces physical principles of electronic devices and their application in analog circuits, covering carrier transport, PN junctions, diodes, solar cells, photodetectors, BJTs, MOSFETs, capacitances, switching behavior, and small-signal models. Integrated laboratory work develops proficiency with measurement equipment (meters, oscilloscopes), reinforces theory through hands-on experiments, and employs team-based multiweek design projects to prepare students for senior design.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
Prerequisites: (ECE 2200 [Min Grade: D] and ECE 2401 [Min Grade: D]) or (ENGR 113 [Min Grade: D] and ECE 105 [Min Grade: D] and ECE 200 [Min Grade: D] and ECE 201 [Min Grade: D] and ECEC 201 [Min Grade: D])
