ECE 5272 ASIC Design 3.0 Credits

This course introduces digital CMOS ASIC systems design and automation, covering the complete physical design flow from RTL synthesis through floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and verification. Topics include system timing, arithmetic and memory block design, and timing and power analysis, with hands-on experience using industrial VLSI CAD tools and a team-based processor design project.
