ECE 5400 Electromagnetic Field Analysis 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the fundamentals of electromagnetic theory, including Maxwell’s equations, solutions to Laplace’s equation, Green’s functions, scalar and vector potentials, and energy and momentum in electromagnetic fields. Topics also include electromagnetic wave propagation, reflection and refraction, polarization and dispersion, guiding structures and waveguides, and applications to transmission systems such as stripline, microstrip, and optical fibers.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
