ECE 5420 Solid State Devices 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the fundamental principles of electronic and photonic devices based on silicon and compound semiconductors. Topics include semiconductor material properties, crystal structure, carrier transport and scattering, pn junctions, heterojunctions, metal–semiconductor contacts, and junction devices, as well as bipolar and field-effect transistors such as BJTs, HBTs, MOSFETs, MESFETs, and MODFETs.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
