ECE 5501 Computer Analysis of Power Systems 3.0 Credits
This course introduces computational methods and dynamic modeling in electric power systems. Topics include digital techniques for load flow, fault, and transient stability analysis, as well as synchronous machine modeling using two-reaction theory and Park’s transformation, including excitation and governor system dynamics and their impact on system stability.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
Prerequisites: ECE 5500 [Min Grade: C] or ECEP 501 [Min Grade: C]
