ECE 5741 Statistical Analysis of Genomics 3.0 Credits
This course introduces signal processing, computational, and statistical methods for the analysis of biological and genomic systems. Topics include DNA sequence analysis, gene prediction, sequence alignment, bio-inspired signal processing, metagenomic data analysis, sequence classification, diversity and distance metrics, ordination techniques, and comparative statistical methods, with practical experience using tools such as R and QIIME.
