ECE 6230 Secure Networking 3.0 Credits

The course covers design principles of secure network protocols and systems. Topics include principles of cryptography, authentication, integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. The course explores security vulnerabilities and defenses at every layer of the TCP/IP stack—from link and network layers to transport and application protocols—combining foundational concepts with selected hands-on lab assignments.
