ECE 6522 Power Distribution Automation and Control 3.0 Credits

This course introduces modeling, analysis, automation, and control of electric power distribution systems. Topics include balanced and unbalanced system modeling, component and load representation, radial and weakly meshed topologies, unbalanced power flow algorithms, distribution management systems, network optimization, capacitor placement and control, reconfiguration, and service restoration.
