ECE 6541 Protective Relaying 3.0 Credits
This course introduces power system protection principles and relay applications, including relay types and characteristics, instrumentation of system parameters, protection of major system components, underfrequency relays, and load shedding. Topics also include electromechanical, static, and solid-state relays, with emphasis on performance evaluation and testing.
