Students will study foundational concepts—including strategies, beliefs, and equilibrium—across static, dynamic, and asymmetric-information environments. The course emphasizes applications to business strategy, market competition, negotiation, and organizational decision-making, while also drawing examples from economics, politics, psychology, and digital platforms. By the end of the course, students will be able to formally model strategic environments, evaluate incentives and strategic outcomes in complex settings, and apply theoretical tools to advanced real-world problems faced by managers and policymakers.
