EDAM 713 Conflict Resolution for School Leaders 3.0 Credits

This course is designed to prepare aspiring school principals to address and manage conflict effectively in educational settings. Participants will explore the principles of conflict resolution, mediation strategies, and communication techniques essential for fostering a positive school climate. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the causes of conflict, managing difficult conversations, and leveraging conflict as an opportunity for growth and collaboration. Through role-playing, case studies, and reflective exercises, students will develop skills to lead with empathy, equity, and professionalism.
