EDCR 518 Evidence-Based Evaluation 3.0 Credits
Students will learn how to design a program evaluation for education research, grants, school or organizational reform, and/or public policy from an evidence-based perspective. This course will introduce students to the basics of evaluation, including formative and summative evaluation, evaluation standards, various evaluation models and uses of evaluation, and the importance of credible evidence. The course will also explore working with multiple stakeholders and the social, cultural, political, and ethical issues involved with conducting evaluation.
