EDEX 5040 Structured Literacy: Strategies for Readers and Writers 3.0 Credits
This course focuses on developing literacy skills for K-12 learners. Students will learn research-based interventions and strategies to improve decoding, encoding, comprehension, vocabulary, and morphology through a structured literacy approach. The course includes assessing and progress monitoring a delayed literacy learner to evaluate intervention effectiveness. Clearances and field experience hours are required.
