EDEX 6040 Advanced Instruction in Literacy and Math 3.0 Credits
This methods course is designed to address the literacy and math needs of students with disabilities in grades K-12. Students will learn to teach core academic skills to learners with disabilities through explicit instruction. The course includes strategies for progress monitoring, IEP goal alignment, and data-based instructional decision making. Clearances and field experience hours are required in the course.
