EDEX 6050 Methods and Practices in Special Education 3.0 Credits

The focus of this course is on designing and implementing instructional practices and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of PK-12 students with disabilities. Collaboration with families and instructional team members in educational settings will also be highlighted. Lesson plan and IEP development and implementation will be a focus. Reflective practice will be emphasized as an enduring professional practice. This course has a stage 3 field experience and teacher candidates will be observed by a university supervisor during the term.
