EDEX 7110 Special Education Leadership: Curriculum and Instruction 3.0 Credits
This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to provide leadership for at-risk and special education students in PK-12 schools. Students will demonstrate instructional leadership practices needed for the implementation of multi-tiered systems of academic and behavioral support to effectively educate and support all learners within a school setting. Students will master leadership skills needed for the implementation of universal screening, instructional and assistive technology, evidence-based practices, and assessment systems that account for cultural and linguistic diversity.
