EDSP 5016 Research Principles for Practitioners 3.0 Credits
This course provides students with a foundational knowledge of social behavioral and educational research with a focus on the skills required to critically evaluate and apply research to practice. Students will be introduced to various research methodologies used within observational, quasi-experimental, and experimental designs, as well as qualitative and mixed-method techniques. Utilizing knowledge of psychometric principles, students will be able to analyze research articles and technical reports to generate conclusions about evidence-based practices.
