EDSP 5034 School Consultation 3.0 Credits
This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively consult with education, mental health, and behavioral health staff working in school and community settings. The course is designed to familiarize students with theories and models of adult behavior change, and the procedures and processes used in an indirect-service delivery model. The skills and strategies discussed will include Tier 1 approaches to Multi-tiered System of Supports, basic data collection strategies, assessment of treatment integrity, and family-school collaboration using Conjoint Behavioral Consultation.
