EDU 5110 Schools, Society and Human Development 3.0 Credits
Through a social justice lens, this course explores the history of schooling in the United States examining how laws, policies and practices have shaped public schooling as well as access to it. Students will also be introduced to theories of teaching and learning and examine how they shape schools and student experiences and how theories of teaching and learning are connected to human development.
