EDU 5175 Teaching Secondary Math 3.0 Credits

The course focuses on major issues in learning and teaching mathematics in the secondary classroom. Students will explore the content and pedagogical strategies of secondary mathematics and use that to design lessons. Topics will include instructional practices, learning theories, assessment, differentiation, and current research in math. This course includes fieldwork and clearances are required.
