EDU 6310 Literacy Assessment 3.0 Credits

This course prepares reading specialist candidates to select, develop, and use a variety of literacy assessment tools for supporting the needs of diverse learners based on their stage of literacy development. Students will also learn how to use assessment data to plan and evaluate effective reading and writing instruction. Students will learn how to analyze assessment data and communicate the findings to different stakeholders. This course includes fieldwork and clearances are required.
