EDU 6340 Advanced Literacy Program Design and Leadership 3.0 Credits

This course prepares literacy leaders to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive literacy programs. Candidates synthesize research-based approaches with state and national standards while using assessment data to plan, monitor, and communicate instructional decisions to diverse stakeholders. Students create and implement a literacy program on the Drexel campus during summer term. Students within a 60-mile radius attend on campus; students outside this radius create and run a Drexel-approved literacy program in their home location. This course includes fieldwork and clearances are required.
