EDU 6425 Exploring Language, Identity, and Culture in Teaching English Learners 3.0 Credits

This course will explore the identity and cultural backgrounds of English Learners (ELs) in our schools and to discuss the impact of these backgrounds on students’ educational progress. The course will address the ways teachers can provide an appropriate learning environment for students of other language backgrounds and engage multilingual families. This course includes fieldwork and clearances are required.
